"Beau & I met on August 10th, back in 2003, and we've been
inseparable ever since. From playing shows to just playing with our
hound dog, it's rare that we're apart.
We both started playing guitar at 14. Beau grew up with his
grandparents and was exposed to lots of big band music and
Motown, which he still enjoys today (though I must state that his
favorite band of all time is definitely The Counting Crows). Anywhos!
Beau's voice is so versatile. He hits notes that I can only dream of
nailing! Sometimes he sounds so delicate and soulful and mellow,
then suddenly he'll rock you with a roaringly good rendition of "No
Sugar". He gets our crowds dancing by the end of the night- it's so
cool!
But anywhos! Like I was saying before- we both started playing at
14. My childhood was very different from Beau's, but we both ended
up with the just about the same taste in music. My folks listened to
a pretty wide variety- ranging from The Beatles to David Bowie, Bob
Marley to Peter Gabriel, and more. I liked a lot of current music as
well and tried to blend both into my sound.
In 2004, we finished our first full-length acoustic album, entitled
"White Buffalo". The majority of the album was recorded by us in
Beau's dad's garage. For being a quick home job- the disc came
out quite good. The following year, Stu entered the picture and we
recorded a rock demo. Now Stu and our new bassist, Matty are
helping us record our 2nd full-length album! We'll keep you updated
on our progress. Thanks so much for visiting our official website!"
